RALLY POINTS

Senior Emily Stroup became the program's all-time kills leader in the rally scoring era after posting 23 kills in Sunday's contest against No. 16 Kentucky. Stroup eclipsed first place as the Rebels began the fourth set, tallying lucky number 17 for the first point of the frame.
Stroup now owns the school record for career kills at 1,421, the top two single-season marks for kills (2017-474, 2018-584), and the top three single-match records for kills, all set in 2018.
Not only do the Rebels lead the SEC in digs per set (15.61), but they rank second overall with 193 total rejections, averaging 2.42 per set. Sophomore Aubrey Sultemeier leads the denial game with 85 total blocks.
Head Coach Steven McRoberts is 7-1 against Alabama since taking the helm in 2014. The Rebels have won the last three contests against the Tide, including two four-set victories last year.
Senior Nicole Purcell continues to dig... everything. After tying her career-high last Wednesday at (RV) Georgia with 27 digs, the third most ever for a four-set match in rally scoring history at Ole Miss, Purcell has posted five matches with 25 digs or more this season. She continues to lead the league in both total digs (385) and digs per set (4.81), and averages a stellar 5.05 digs per set in SEC matches.
Ole Miss and Tennessee met earlier this season in their SEC openers. The Rebels grinded out a thrilling five-set victory, their first of six straight conference wins. Purcell first registered her career-high during this match, tallying 27 digs and delivered a flawless serve-receive performance with no reception errors. The outside duo of Stroup and freshman Anna Bair combined for 42 kills (22, 20 respectively) and the team posted 13 blocks, including seven from Sultemeier.
The 2019 squad saw a historic winning streak snapped earlier this season, as the squad put together 14 wins in a row, tying for the longest in program history with the 2014 Rebels. Their seven-game road win streak was second-best in program history, ranking behind the 2010 team who posted 10 wins.

ON THE HORIZON
Freshman Anna Bair needs just 89 kills to become the program's all-time freshman leader. She currently ranks third with 235.

NUMBERS TO KNOW
8: Ole Miss has eight individuals ranks in the Top 10 in the league in different statistical categories, including two Rebels who top the conference.
11: Number of double-doubles by junior setter Lauren Bars, a league-best mark.
23: A season-high in kills for senior Emily Stroup, who became the program's all-time rally scoring leader.

SCOUTING THE LADY VOLS
The Rebels will look to sweep the season series with Tennessee, who enters the weekend on a 9-11, 3-7 clip. Their three wins in league play have come against Texas A&M in a five-setter, and sweeps of Auburn and Mississippi State. Senior Tessa Grubbs leads the squad and ranks fourth in the league with 318 total kills. She posted 19 against the Rebels last meeting. Junior libero Madison Coulter boasts a team-best 315 digs, also turning in a career-high with 35 during the September matchup.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON TIDE
Under first-year head coach Lindsey Devine, Alabama carries an 11-9 ledger, going 3-6 in SEC play after beating Arkansas in five and Auburn and Mississippi State each in 3-1 decisions. Junior outside Doris Carter tops the team with 159 kills, while freshman Alyiah Wells leads the blocking game with 72 rejections. Junior libero Kaylee Thomas has logged 301 digs, averaging 4.24 per set. Alabama enters Sunday's contest having dropped 10 straight sets.
