2020 Signing Class Ranks No. 1 in the SEC
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss women's basketball head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin and her staff have put the Rebels in the national spotlight, bringing in the No. 9 recruiting class in the nation and the top class in the SEC after four marquee commitments on Wednesday for National Signing Day.
Joining the Rebels are two five-star signings in Jacorriah Bracey (Drew, Mississippi/Thomas E. Edwards High School) and Madison Scott (Indian Head, Maryland/Bishop McNamara High School), as well as Snudda Collins (Brookhaven, Mississippi/Brookhaven High School) and Caitlin McGee (Jacksonville, Florida/Sandalwood High School). Scott ranks as the No. 13 prospect in the nation, while Bracey – the No. 48 player nationally – marks the second year in a row that the top recruit in the state of Mississippi has come to Ole Miss.
The Rebels' class currently stands No. 9 in the ESPN class rankings, as well as the top class in the SEC ahead of 10th-ranked Kentucky. Other schools in the top-10 include Oregon, UConn, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Stanford, California, Baylor and Iowa State.
"It is my hope that this class shows the type of talent we'd like to bring here to Ole Miss for years to come," McPhee-McCuin said. "What excites me the most is not the talent that these ladies clearly have, but more importantly the type of people that will be representing Ole Miss here in Oxford and nationally. My staff has worked extremely hard to help put this class together, and I'm truly excited about it. We've got size, length, athleticism, skill and talent that will help us progress toward the goal of becoming a prominent program in the SEC."

Coach Yo: "JB was our first verbal commitment here in the 2020 class. She believed in us from the day she met with us and she, too, is Mississippi Made. JB can score the ball from all three levels. She's a coach's kid, so she understands the expectations from a coach and the demands that come with playing under pressure. I expect Jacorriah to be a combo guard for us as she will play both the point guard and the wing. She is the second top in-state recruit that we've been able to have join us here at Ole Miss."

Coach Yo: "Snudda is a diamond in the rough. I think she is the best-kept secret in our signing class, and she is Mississippi Made, so I'm sure that will excite people in the state. It was important to us as a staff to retain the best talent in the state, and Snudda is definitely one of them. At 6-1, she will be able to play the guard positions for us. She has great vision for that size, and has one of the most beautiful shots I've seen. We cannot wait to work with Snudda, she will have a great career here at Ole Miss."

Coach Yo: "Having Caitlin join us here at Ole Miss couldn't have worked out any better for us. I've known Caitlin and her family since she was in the sixth grade. Caitlin's dad was a former basketball player, so she has a strong pedigree. To describe her, I would use the words: tough, competitive, coachable, and just someone any coach would want on their team. What's unique about our relationship is that she has watched me build Jacksonville, so she knows my coaching style, personality and expectations better than anyone. She too will be able to play multiple positions on the floor for us on both ends. We expect her to impact us immediately and look forward to her joining us on campus."

Coach Yo: "When we found out that Madi will be joining the Rebel family, we were speechless. When I first began the process with her, I told my staff that it would be highly unlikely that we get her, but it just goes to show that because we worked hard and believed in what we're doing here that good things can happen. Madison will make an immediate impact for us. She is long, she will be able to play both guard and forward positions on both ends of the floor for us, and she will give us the option to play 'small ball.' Most importantly, she's a winner. She has won at every level, and I am sure that the Oxford community will enjoy having her here."
