Pizza Bowl XX Set for Friday at 2:30 p.m. CT

Weather Pushes Fall Finale Up to 2:30 at Swayze Field
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss baseball will conclude its fall season with the 20th edition of the Pizza Bowl on Friday at 2:30 p.m. CT at Swayze Field.
Originally set for 6 p.m. Friday evening, Pizza Bowl XX was moved up to 2:30 p.m. CT due to weather.
A tradition that head coach Mike Bianco brought to Oxford when he started at Ole Miss in the summer of 2000, the Pizza Bowl serves as the end of the fall season for the Rebels. The game, and the practices leading up to it, are coached by veteran players.
The Rebels held their Pizza Bowl draft on Tuesday at the Baseball Performance Center. Greer Holston selected Tyler Keenan first overall to his team, while Anthony Servideo was the first round pick by Taylor Broadway. The full Pizza Bowl XX rosters can be found below.
It will be a 10-inning contest in which pitchers are allowed to throw a maximum of two innings each. All position players must get at least one at-bat. If the game goes to extra innings, the teams will begin with the bases loaded and one out. At the conclusion of the game, the winning team is rewarded with pizza, while the losing team runs on the field. Team Broadway will serve as the home team.
Admission is free for fans. Gates will open two hours prior to start and batting practice will begin around noon. The Diamond Club and Dugout Club will not be open for access, but all other outdoor seating will be available for fans.
Fans will need either a valid campus parking pass or visitor's pass to avoid being ticketed Friday afternoon. For more information on visitor passes, please visit the Ole Miss parking website.
