After dropping the doubles point, each Rebel won her opening set in singles competition, including a tiebreaker at fifth singles for junior Alexa Bortles and a grueling 7-5 battle for senior Allie Sanford at No. 6.
Junior Tereza Janatova got the Rebels on the board in almost no time, who cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 decision at No. 4 singles in a mere 40 minutes.
