Chelsea Drum Ran the Fifth-Best 5K Time in Ole Miss History
AZUSA, Calif. – Ole Miss track & field sophomores Chelsea Drum and Ylvi Traxler led off a busy weekend for the Rebels across the country with two all-time top-10 performances in the 5K at the Bryan Clay Invite late Thursday night.
Drum won Heat Three of the women's 5K at a time of 16:27.66, the fifth-best time in school history in her first career 5K race outdoors that also puts her No. 30 on the NCAA East Region descending list entering this weekend.
