OXFORD, Miss. --  Coming off a victory against Utah in the consolation round of the ITA Kickoff last weekend in Ann Arbor, Mich., the Ole Miss Women's Tennis team (3-1) looks to continue with their winning ways, hosting a pair of Big 12 foes for the SEC/Big 12 Weekend.

All matches will be held at the William F. Galtney Indoor Tennis Center, located along Manning Way. The Rebels will first host the Red Raiders with free hot chocolate to the first 100 fans, while Saturday Ole Miss will welcome Baylor and have free Chick Fil A in a limited quantity.

Fans can follow both matches via the live scoring links provided.

REBEL RECAP
Ole Miss downed the Utes 4-0 last Sunday in Ann Arbor, after a grueling 7-5 decision at third doubles allowed rookie duo Kelsey Mize and Victoire de Samucewicz to clinch the doubles point for the Rebs and give them a 1-0 advantage. Junior Sabina Machalova, ranked No. 48 in the most recent ITA/Oracle rankings, also had a big weekend, pulling in two wins, including a 6-3, 6-2 decision over the 26th-ranked player in the country, Giulia Pairone of Michigan.

SCOUTING THE RED RAIDERS
Texas Tech enters the weekend 1-1, falling 1-4 to LSU in their ITA Kickoff Weekend opener, but rebounding with a 4-1 victory over Iowa. The Red Raiders boast no ranked players and return just one upperclassman from a squad that went 17-9 a year ago with an appearance in the first round of the NCAA Championships.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
Baylor carries a perfect 3-0 clip in the young season, including back-to-back 7-0 victories to begin 2020. The Bears carry a veteran roster, with just three underclassmen on the roster.

It will be a reunion for current Ole Miss volunteer assistant Blair Shankle, a three-time All-American and six-time All-Big 12 selection for Baylor during the 2014-2017 seasons.

UP NEXT
The Rebels will remain at home, welcoming North Alabama and Alcorn State for a pair of matches Saturday, February 8.
