THE COURSE
Old Waverly Golf Club stretches to just under 6,400 yards and plays as a par 72. Old Waverly was founded by the George Bryan family and 29 other founders in 1988. Designed by U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate and Bob Cupp, Old Waverly has hosted many tournaments across all levels of golf, most notably the 1999 U.S. Women's Open

 TAMBURLINI EARNS SPOT IN LINEUP
Sophomore Chiara Tamburlini will make her 2020 debut for the Rebels at The Ally. The St. Gallen, Switzerland, native earned the No. 4 spot in the lineup for Ole Miss after competing in three events last season. Tamburlini posted a 72.78 stroke average in 2019-20, with two top-five finishes and six rounds of par or better. She tallied a runner-up finish at the Battle at the Beach with three rounds under par, firing a 7-under 209 (70-69-70), a career-low 54-hole score.

 SWANN DOMINANT OF PAR 5s
Kennedy Swann, a senior from Austin, Texas, was dominant on par 5s during the season's first tournament at the Blessings Collegiate. Swann tallied nine birdies, two pars and one bogey on par 5s, leading the field in scoring on the lengthy holes (-8). Swann finished second in the field in total birdies with 13 over her three rounds.

 HUME FINISHES STRONG AT BLESSINGS
Playing in her first tournament as a Rebel, transfer Ellen Hume rebounded from a 82 and 77 during the first two rounds at the Blessings Collegiate to fire a 2-under, 70 in the third and final round in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Hume, a native of Whitwell, England, used four birdies on the back nine to post her first under-par round as a Rebel.

 JOHNSON CONTINUES TO SHINE
Julia Johnson looks to continue to etch her name into the Ole Miss record books after she led the SEC with a 70.72 stroke average in 2019-20, the lowest single-season stroke average in program history. Johnson has finished inside the top-15 in seven straight events. She ended the 2019-20 season No. 22 in Golfstat's player rankings. Johnson led the Rebels on the leaderboard in three of the six events played, earning second team All-America honors from the Women's Golf Coaches Association. She tied an NCAA record for lowest individual round with an 11-under 61 at the Battle at the Beach.

 BUILDING A POWERHOUSE
Kory Henkes took over the Ole Miss program in 2015 and has turned the Rebels into a top-tier program. Henkes has led the Rebels to two straight NCAA Championship berths and a No. 11 final ranking in the WGCA Coaches Poll last season. The Rebels were one of only two teams nationally to have four or more wins in 2019-20. Ole Miss also won its first SEC Championship in school history under Henke's guidance in 2019.
