Men’s Tennis Falls to Florida to Conclude Fall Season

Ole Miss Wraps Up 2020 Fall Season Against the Gators
ATHENS, Ga. – Ole Miss men's tennis battled the Florida Gators to end the Southern Intercollegiate Championships, wrapping up the 2020 fall season for the Rebels on Sunday.
Ole Miss faced Florida, the SEC's top-ranked team last spring at No. 9, for the second time this season. In all but one set, the Rebels won at least three games off of the Gators.
In singles, Tim Sandkaulen fought in three highly contested sets to Florida's Duarte Vale. After losing the first set 6-3, Sandkaulen stormed back to claim the second 6-2. The two competitors were gridlocked at 4-4 in the final set, until Vale prevailed victorious for the Gators.
Brady Draheim competed in the only tiebreak of the afternoon, coming up short 7-6 (2), 6-3 to Florida's Ben Shelton. Shelton went undefeated for the Gators over the weekend.
In doubles, two Ole Miss teams played against Florida in competitive matches. Tim Sandkaulen and Cotter Wilson won six games against Florida's Brian Berdusco and Ben Shelton in defeat. Brady Draheim and Jan Soren Hain won three games versus the Gators' Sam Riffice and Duarte Vale.
