OXFORD, Miss. --  Coming off a thrilling tournament title at the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic, Ole Miss Men's Tennis heads into conference play this weekend, facing off against Arkansas in Fayetteville to being SEC action on Sunday, March 1.
 
Prior to that, though, the Rebels will take on another Top 15 team, making a stop in Fort Worth to face No. 12 TCU in a Friday night showdown at 5:30 p.m.
 
Live scoring and video will be available for both matches, pending weather. 
 
RANKED REBS
Ole Miss enters the weekend at No. 14 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings, catapulting from No. 20 after their three-win weekend in Montgomery, Ala., at the Blue Gray. Individually, senior Tim Sandkaulen carries a No. 55 boasting in singles, while he and junior Finn Reynolds team up for a No. 40 ranking in doubles. 
 
SLAVIC DUBBED FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
After turning in four wins at the Blue Gray, including clinching the championship for the Rebels over league-foes Alabama, rookie Nikola Slavic was crowned Tournament MVP en route to earning his first career SEC Freshman of the Week honor. Slavic has won five straight singles matches, and carries an 8-1 record in singles this spring. 
 
SCOUTING THE HORNED FROGS
TCU enters the weekend with a 7-4 ledger, but have won their last four contests, including upsets over then-No.10 North Carolina State and then-No. 6 Texas A&M during National Team Indoors. The Horned Frogs have surrendered just one match point in their last four contests, winning 4-0 in three straight matches. TCU boasts a wealth of individuals in the ITA Rankings:

SCOUTING THE RAZORBACKS
Arkansas will carry a 4-4 clip into the weekend, but faces a Top 50 team in Mississippi State Friday before hosting the Rebels. The Razorbacks bear just one ranked player in junior Alex Reco (No. 111), they return six members to their 2020 squad. Reco leads the way with a 7-1 record, while senior Enrique Paya comes into Friday on a four-match win streak.  Arkansas upset then-No. 5 Baylor earlier this season, winning 4-3. 
 
UP NEXT 
Ole Miss continues its road trip, heading to Athens and Knoxville next weekend for a conference weekend with Georgia and Tennessee. The Volunteers carry a No. 10 ranking into the beginning of SEC action.
