CEMENTED IN HISTORY

With her 2021 ANNIKA Intercollegiate individual title win to kickoff the fall season, Julia Johnson moved into a tie for first with Sarah Britt (1989-93) for the most individual tournament wins in Rebels women's golf history with four all-time. Johnson is now either tied or in sole possession of every possible individual record for Ole Miss women's golf.

TWO IN THE TOP 50 FOR THE REBELS

A pair of Rebels found themselves cracking the top 50 of the Golfstat NCAA Women's Player Rankings that were updated Oct. 12, with Julia Johnson leading the way ranked No. 17 in the nation, and junior Chiara Tamburlini following it up with a No. 47 ranking of her own. Tamburlini has seen a huge leap up the leaderboard following the start to her fall season, as she closed out the 2020-21 season with a ranking of No. 103 following the team's NCAA title run, 56 spots below where she sits currently.

CUNNINGHAM TRENDING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Redshirt-freshman McKinley Cunningham took a large leap between her first and second tournament appearances with the team this season, logging new career highs with an 18-hole score of 75, 56-hole score of 229, and overall finish that tied her for 30th in the field. The Clarksville, Tennessee, native saw early success in what was a difficult Blessings Golf Club, putting together an opening round of 75 that at the end of day one saw her in a tie for 12th overall.

HOST HUSTED TO MAKE OLE MISS DEBUT

Highly touted freshman Natacha Host Husted is heading into what will be her first ever collegiate appearance for Ole Miss in Roland. A Copenhagen, Denmark, native, Host Husted has racked up numerous accolades for her home nation of Denmark, including winning the 2019 European Champion title with the Danish Girl's National Team, finishing fourth at the 2019 World Amatuer Girl's Team Championship with the Danish Girl's National Team, and earning the 2019 "Golden Golfball" Award that is given out annually by the Danish Golf Federation to the golfer who put on the best Danish golf performance of the year.
