Women’s Cross Country No. 15, Men No. 19 in Week Six USTFCCCA Poll

Both Rebel Squads Coming Off Runner-Up SEC Finishes
NEW ORLEANS – Ole Miss women's cross country came in at No. 15 while the Rebel men jumped up nine spots to No. 19 in the Week Six USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
This is the 34th time both Ole Miss squads have been ranked simultaneously, as well as the 10th time in a row dating back to the end of the 2020 season.
This is the 10th straight appearance in the national poll for the Ole Miss women, who have now appeared in the USTFCCCA rankings 35 times in their history. Ole Miss has at least been receiving votes 27 of the last 28 women's polls dating back to 2018 and 44 of the last 47 back to 2016. The Rebel women most recently ranked a program-record No. 11 in the Week Five rankings.
Meanwhile, this is the 52nd total appearance for the Rebel men and their 46th in a row dating back to the 2016 preseason. Additionally, Ole Miss has ranked in 52 of the last 55 men's polls going back to 2014 and have at least received votes in 55 of the last 57 also back to 2014.
Ole Miss is coming off runner-up team finishes at the SEC Championships last week, where the Rebel women were led by the best individual finish in program history by Sintayehu Vissa (sixth), the men fought neck-and-neck with a powerful Arkansas team, and the Rebels ended up with six total All-SEC runners.
Up next, the Rebels are looking to punch their tickets to the national meet at the NCAA South Regional, hosted by North Alabama on Nov. 12.
