OXFORD, Miss. – No. 21 Ole Miss (8-5, 4-3 SEC) hosts No. 24 Florida (7-6, 5-3 SEC) at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday and welcomes No. 39 South Carolina (6-9, 3-5 SEC) at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday.
Red Hot Rebs
Ole Miss returns after an SEC implemented bye week on a three-match winning streak. The Rebels are undefeated this month (3-0), competing in all matches on the road. Ole Miss returns to Oxford in superb form. In their last three matches, the Rebels earned victories over No. 19 LSU (4-0, March 5), No. 48 Alabama (4-3, March 11) and No. 18 Auburn (4-0, March 13).
Rebels in the Rankings
Ole Miss achieved its best ranking this season at No. 21 in the latest ITA/Oracle team poll (March 24).
Individually, the Rebels feature three ranked singles players: No. 16 Sabina Machalova, No. 40 Tiphanie Fiquet and No. 80 Tereza Janatova. Machalova and Alexa Bortles are currently ranked No. 59 in doubles.
Last Time Facing Florida
The Rebels fell to the Gators 4-1 in their last meeting in 2019. Janatova earned Ole Miss' sole victory by defeating Florida's Tsveta Dimitrova in straight sets, 7-5, 6-0.
Scouting the Gators
Florida has won its last two matches by sweeping their opponents 4-0. The Gators defeated both No. 41 Missouri (March 12) and No. 20 Arkansas (4-0) at home.
Florida is led in singles by No. 11 McCartney Kessler. Kessler, Florida's No. 1 Singles, has won 8 of 10 dual matches this season and has earned one SEC Player of the Week Honor (March 3). In doubles, Kessler is ranked No. 2 with Marlee Zein. The duo has a 9-2 dual record this season (all at No. 1 Doubles).
Last Time Facing South Carolina
The Rebels were swept by the Gamecocks, 4-0, in their last meeting in 2019. The two teams did not compete last season (COVID-19 season stoppage). The Gators are 4-5 versus ranked opponents this season (3-1 versus non-ranked). Florida comes to Oxford with a 2-5 road record this year.
Scouting the Gamecocks
South Carolina has won six of 15 matches this season. The Gamecocks travel to Oxford having won their last two matches at home. South Carolina swept No. 20 Arkansas 4-0 (March 12) and defeated No. 41 Missouri 4-1 (March 14). The Gamecocks earned their first two ranked wins of the season and improved to 2-5 versus ranked teams. South Carolina is 2-5 on the road in 2021. In duals, the Gamecocks are 31-41 in singles matches and are 33-26 in doubles.
The Gamecocks feature one ranked singles player, No. 85 Mia Horvit, and one ranked doubles team, No. 15 Horvit and Megan Davies. Horvit has won six of 11 dual matches this season at No. 1 Singles for South Carolina.

Ole Miss next travels to Starkville to face Mississippi State Bulldogs on Friday, April 2. Mississippi State is currently ranked No. 36 in the nation.
