Women’s Cross Country No. 15, Men No. 18 in Week Three USTFCCCA Rankings

Rebels Compete at High-Powered Joe Piane Invitational This Friday at Notre Dame
NEW ORLEANS – Ole Miss women's cross country held at No. 15 while the Rebel men moved up two spots to No. 18 in the Week Three USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
This is the 31st time both Ole Miss squads have been ranked simultaneously, as well as the seventh time in a row dating back to the end of the 2020 season.
This is the seventh straight appearance in the national poll for the Ole Miss women, who have now appeared in the USTFCCCA rankings 32 times in their history. Ole Miss has at least been receiving votes in 24 of the last 25 women's polls dating back to 2018 and 41 of the last 44 back to 2016.
Meanwhile, this is the 49th total appearance for the Rebel men and their 43rd in a row dating back to the 2016 preseason. Additionally, Ole Miss has ranked in 49 of the last 52 men's polls going back to 2014 and have at least received votes in 52 of the last 54 also back to 2014. The Rebel men are in the midst of an even better streak as well, as this week constitutes their 21st consecutive appearance within the top-20 of the national poll.
Ole Miss is coming off a bombastic women's team win at the North Alabama Showcase on Sept. 17, which featured an individual win by SEC Runner of the Week Skylar Boogerd and a 70-point team win helped by five Rebel scorers within the top-seven. The Rebel men took fourth in the team race at UNA, led by an 11th-place finish by Dalton Hengst.
The Rebel men and women return to action this Friday (Oct. 1) at Notre Dame for the high-powered Joe Piane Invitational. Competition is set to start at 10 a.m. CT.
