COLUMBIA, S.C. – Errors proved costly as Ole Miss volleyball on the road in straight sets to South Carolina Sunday morning at the Carolina Volleyball Center.

Both teams played a tight opening set. Once again, South Carolina climbed back into the match to erase the deficit with a 7-1 run to take a 17-15 lead. Still holding their two-point advantage, the Gamecocks managed to close out the set on a 4-0 run and take the second, 25-19.
Trailing two sets to none, Ole Miss battled to extend the match. South Carolina grabbed an early lead at 10-7 and never looked back. The Gamecocks went on to extend their lead to six points and take the set 25-19 and the match in straight sets.
