SERVICE LINE
- The Rebels went 1-1 last week, winning their first road match of the season against Missouri.
- The win over No. 58 Kentucky was also the team's first-ranked win and conference win.
- Ole Miss last defeated South Carolina in 2012 when the Rebels won 5-2 in Oxford.
- Ole Miss last took down Florida during the 2008-09 season at home by a score of 4-3.
- The Rebels are 29-33 in conference matches the last five seasons.
- The program has compiled a 65-51 record on Friday matches and 52-50 on Sunday in the last 15 seasons. The Rebels are 0-4 on Friday this season and 4-2 on Sunday.

Lillian Gabrielsen (Sr.) – Oslo, Norway
- Compiled a 14-11 overall singles record and a 9-9 overall doubles record
- Made the ITA Fall National Championships in singles as the South Region runner-up
- Reached the round of 16 in doubles at the ITA South Region Championships in 2021
Ludmila Kareisova (So.) – Liberec, Czechia
- Has a 15-7 singles record and 11-7 doubles record
- She is also 6-2 against ranked opponents in singles, with three coming in the last five matches
- She is 6-0 in SEC singles play, which is the best recorded start by a Rebel (last recorded in 2008)
- ITA South Region Championships doubles runner-up, which earned a spot in the ITA National in 2021
Emma Kette (Fr.) – Rammelsbach, Germany
- Has a 9-6 singles record and a 6-6 doubles record (9-3 in dual singles)
- First Rebel freshman since Alexa Bortles in 2016-17 to start her dual career 6-0
- Joined the squad this January
- Coming in with an overall singles record of 12-9
Rachel Krzyzak (So.) – Milton, Ontario, Canada
- She is 4-2 in dual singles since returning
- Earned her first conference doubles win against Auburn with Emma Kette
- Compiled an 18-11 singles record and 15-15 doubles record during the 2021-22 season
Anaelle Leclercq-Ficher (So.) – La Perche, France
- Has a 5-11 singles record and an 8-7 doubles record
- Reached doubles quarterfinals of ITA South Region Championships in 2021
- Voted SEC Freshman of the Year on March 2, 2021
Kelsey Mize (Sr.*) – Tulsa, Okla.
- Has an 11-9 singles record and a 9-9 doubles record
- She and Lillian Gabrielsen is 5-3 in dual matches together to start the season
- ITA South Region Championships doubles runner-up in 2021, advanced to ITA Fall Nationals
Reka Zadori (Jr.) – Szeged, Hungary
- Has a 16-11 singles record and an 8-9 doubles record. Leads team in singles wins
- Made it to the singles quarterfinals of the ITA South Region Championships in 2021
- Also reached doubles quarterfinals of ITA South Region Championships in 2021
LAST TIME ON THE COURT
- Ole Miss women's tennis fell to No. 65 Arkansas, 4-3, then bounced back with a 5-2 win over Missouri.
- The Rebels were down 3-0 to Arkansas before Kareisova defeated her sixth-ranked opponent in No. 68 Carolina Gomez Alonso
- After Arkansas clinched the match, Leclercq-Ficher and Zadori won in third-set super tiebreakers at No. 1 and No. 6 singles
- Against Missouri, Leclercq-Ficher and Kareisova won the first doubles match, 7-5, at No. 1 doubles.
- Unfortunately, the Rebels lost the next two doubles matches in tiebreakers.
- Ole Miss began singles with three straight wins at No. 3, No. 5, and No. 6 singles.
- After losing at No. 1 singles, the Rebels would seal the match at No. 4 singles.
- Kette fought back from a 6-2 first-set loss to win the following two sets, 7-5, 6-4.
- Kareisova would wrap a bow on the match with a three-set match, 6-7 (1), 6-3, 7-6 (1) at No. 2 singles.
MILESTONE MARKER
- Gabrielsen is seven doubles wins away from 50 in her career, and four dual doubles wins from 30.
- Gabrielsen tied her career season-high of 14 singles wins against Arkansas.
- Gabrielsen needs four singles wins for 40 in her career.
- After going 2-0 in singles, Kareisova improved to 6-0 in SEC play, which is the best record start to SEC play by any Rebel (2008)
- Kareisova needs three more singles, and four more doubles wins to reach 30 in her young career.
- Kareisova became the first Rebel to win 10 doubles matches.
- Kette just one overall and dual singles wins from 10 in both categories. She also has four doubles wins from 10.

HEAD COACH MARK BEYERS
- Beyers is in his 22nd year coaching the Ole Miss women's tennis team.
- He has compiled a 278-236 record with Ole Miss and a 325-244 career record.
- Beyers earned ITA South Region Coach of the Year in 2010, 2012, and 2018.
- He has led the team to seven NCAA Second Round appearances and one Sweet 16 appearance.
- He coached the only Ole Miss NCAA Singles Champion, Arianne Hartono, in 2018, as well as four CoSIDA Academic All-Americans and 35 All-SEC honorees.
- Prior to Ole Miss, Beyers spent three seasons as the head coach of the women's tennis team at his alma mater Armstrong Atlantic State. The team captured the NCAA DII National Championship, posted a 50-8 record and won the Peach Belt Conference each year.
OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE NET
South Carolina
The Gamecocks are 8-6 overall and 3-2 in the SEC coming into the match. The team is ranked No. 26 in the nation after grabbing two wins over No. 45 Kentucky and No. 28 Vanderbilt. South Carolina's roster is young but led by senior Ayana Akli. Along with earning SEC Player of the Week twice, Akli is also ranked in singles as the 6th best player in the country. Akli has compiled a 25-6 singles record which includes going 10-0 in dual singles and 4-0 in the SEC. The Gamecocks have another top-20 singles player in No. 16 Sarah Hamner. The sophomore is 16-8 in singles and has a 14-8 doubles record. Together, Akli and Hamner are the 70th-best doubles pairing with a 10-6 record. Ana Cruz and Allie Gretkowski have also excelled, with a 9-5 doubles record and a 6-3 dual doubles record. South Carolina looks to extend their two-match win streak, playing two matches in Mississippi against Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
Florida
Florida has won four of their last five matches. After losing to No. 68 Kentucky, the Gators bounced back by taking down No. 3 Michigan on Wednesday. The team is ranked No. 19 in the country and three ranked individuals in singles. Upperclassmen lead Florida in senior Carly Briggs and junior Sara Dahlstrom. Briggs is the 45th-best singles player in the nation with a 13-10 singles record. She also leads the team with a 16-9 doubles record, including a 7-2 record with freshman Rachel Gailis. Dahlstrom is ranked No. 42 with an 11-3 singles record, coming off a win over Michigan's No. 47 Kari Miller. Emily De Oliveira is not ranked but leads the team with 19 wins with just three losses. The Gators play Mississippi State on Friday before coming to Oxford.
REBS IN THE RANKINGS
Kareisova vaulted up 31 spots to No. 62 in the latest ITA Singles Rankings, announced on March 21. The Czechia native made the leap by going 4-0 in singles with two ranked wins in the last two weeks. Kareisova's stretch began, defeating current No. 32 Carolyn Ansari. She went on to take down No. 68 Carolina Gomez Alonso on Friday against Arkansas.
CONFERENCE ACTION
The Rebels have played six of the 13 conference matches. Ole Miss returns to Oxford for two matches, hosting South Carolina and Florida. From there, the Rebels have a three-match road stretch, starting with Mississippi State. Then to start April, the team heads to College Station and Baton Rouge for contests against Texas A&M and LSU. The Rebels will finish the regular season at home, hosting Tennessee on April 14 and Georgia on April 16.
A MOVE TO FOUR
Krzyzak started at No. 6 singles this season with a 3-1 record. In the last two matches, she has played at the fifth position for a 1-1 record. Now this week, the sophomore from Canada moves into the four spot for the first time since last season. During her first year, Krzyzak played most of her dual matches at No. 4 singles and compiled a 7-2 record. She aims to have the same success in her sophomore campaign.
TAKE KARE-ISOVA
Lida Kareisova is on a singles tear, winning her last eight singles matches. The win streak includes a 6-0 SEC singles record and a 3-0 ranked singles record. The 6-0 singles SEC record is the best record start of conference play for the program (last recorded in 2008). The sophomore's streak began with wins against Belmont and Tennessee State. Then, she took down No. 65 Anna Ross and Kentucky's Elizabeth Stevens. Then, Kareisova defeated No. 41 Carolyn Ansari and Alabama's Petra Sedlackova. Kareisova last took down No. 68 Carolina Gomez Alonso, 6-4, 6-1 and Emelie Schwarte, 6-7(1), 6-3, 7-6(1). Not only has she won all eight matches, but she has won seven in straight sets. She could face two more ranked opponents in the Gamecocks' No. 16 Sarah Hammer and the Gators' No. 42 Sara Dahlstrom.
WELCOME HOME
The Rebels have excelled on their home turf of William F Galtney Indoor and Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center. Ole Miss women's tennis has compiled a 7-1 home record with the lone loss against No. 23 Vanderbilt. At home, the team has outscored their opponent 35-9.
FRESHMAN SINGLES SUCCESS
The Rebels have seen dual singles success from their first-year players over the last three seasons. Two years ago, Reka Zadori came onto the scene, with the now junior going 9-4 from either the No. 5 or No. 6 position.
Last season was the same with three freshmen in Ludmila Kareisova, Rachel Krzyzak and Anaelle Leclercq-Ficher. Kareisova started 0-2 before going 10-8. Krzyzak and Leclercq-Ficher started 3-1 in their first four finished matches. Leclercq-Ficher, at one point, was 6-2, then ended 8-5. Krzyzak finished the year with a team-leading 13-6 dual singles record.
In 2023, Emma Kette is off to a 9-3 start and looks to continue the trend.
