Men’s Cross Country No. 23, Women No. 25 in USTFCCCA Week Two Poll

Rebels Back in Action in Chicago This Friday
NEW ORLEANS – Ole Miss men's and women's cross country are both ranked heading into action this weekend, with the Rebel men holding at No. 23 and the women moving up one spot to No. 25 in the Week Two USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
This is the 40th time both Ole Miss squads have been ranked simultaneously, and it comes after a dominant showing at the Southern Showcase on Sept. 15. In Huntsville, the Rebels swept both team titles, with the Ole Miss men winning by 42 points over Auburn following a 21-second scoring spread, and the Rebel women winning by 37 points over Auburn after notching all five scorers within the top 14 spots.
This is the 59th total appearance in the national poll for the Ole Miss men, as well as the 42nd overall for the Rebel women.
Ole Miss will compete in Chicago this Friday morning, Sept. 29, at Loyola's Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational. The Tom Cooney Championships Women's 6K will start at 11:25 a.m. CT, followed by the Championship Men's 8K at noon.
