Women's Tennis Secures Road Win Over No. 64 Kentucky

The powerful duo of Ava Hrastar and Briana Crowley set a quick tone after a 6-0 win on court one. Not far behind, Leclercq-Ficher and Ludmila Kareisova fought a tough battle in doubles two, that left the Rebels in a tie break moment of truth. After a nail-biting finish, Ole Miss (9-4, 3-2 SEC) grabbed the doubles point.

In singles, Hrastar and Kareisova wasted no time in their first respective sets. Both had an electric day, after Hrastar finished 6-2, 6-3 in the first position, and second slot Kareisova 6-1, 6-0.

Leclercq-Fisher had the upper hand on court four, after a 6-2 set one lead. Without a doubt, the junior pulled out another victory, to add to another win for her campaign.

Three courts remained unfinished, after Leclercq-Ficher clinched the match for the Rebels.

The 34th-ranked Rebels travel back to Oxford to take on the No. 13 Auburn Tigers Friday, March 22 at 3 p.m.
