Women’s Tennis Set for Top-25 Road Matchup Against No. 12 Florida and No. 15 South Carolina

Columbia, S.C./ Gainesville, Fla.—The Rebels will hit the road to face off two top-25 opponents in Columbia, South Carolina, and Gainesville, Florida. Ole Miss will set to battle the Gamecocks on Friday, March 29, at 4 p.m. with a quick turnaround to face the Gators on Sunday, March 31, at 12 p.m.

THE REBELS
Briana Crowley (Sr.) – Westfield, Ind. 
- Ranked No. 64 alongside Ava Hraster in doubles                                        
- Started the season 7-1 in dual-singles, 1-0 in SEC
- Joins the Rebels after three seasons at Northwestern 
- Compiled a career singles record of 46-31 and a doubles record of 58-36 
- Former Blue Chip five-star recruit 

Lucie Devier (Sr.) – Etrechy, France 
- Grabbed 10th doubles win as a Rebel against No. 30 Vanderbilt
- Earned first singles win as a Rebel at the Roberta Alison Invitational 
- Returns to Ole Miss after missing all last season 
- Transferred from North Texas in 2022 

Ava Hrastar (Sr.) – Duluth, Ga. 
- Earned first ranked singles win as a Rebel against No. 18 Alabama
- Ranked No. 64 ITA ranking with Crowley
- Two-time NCAA Doubles Championship qualifier 
- 2022 All-American and All-ACC Third Team honors 
- Former five-star recruit, ranked 1st out of Georgia and 18th nationally 
 
Ludmila Kareisová (Jr.) – Liberec, Czechia 
- Grabbed first ranked singles win of the season versus No. 18 Alabama 
- 2023 NCAA Singles Championships qualifier 
- Named 2023 All-SEC Second Team 

Emma Kette (So.) – Rammelsbach, Germany 
- Started 9-1 in dual singles and 5-1 in conference
- Finished 2023 with a 12-10 singles record and 11-9 doubles record 
- Appeared in all 24 matches in the spring 

Rachel Krzyzak (Jr.) – Milton, Ontario, Canada 
- Tied for 48th in career-high singles with 40 wins in program history
- Career singles record of 40-33 and a doubles record of 24-35 

Anaelle Leclercq-Ficher (Jr.) – La Perche, France 
- Tallied a 5-1 conference singles record and 5-2 doubles so far
- Clinched the win over No. 34 LSU, first Ole Miss ranked victory of the year
- Compiled 23 career singles wins and 33 career doubles victories 

Kelsey Mize (Sr.) – Tulsa, Okla. 
- Earned tenth doubles win of the season against Purdue 
- Finished 2023 ranked No. 78 in doubles 
- Accomplished 50 doubles wins and is top 30 in program history 

Andrea Nova (Fr.) – Prague, Czechia 
- Third straight Rebel freshman to win doubles and singles in her first match 
- Joined by Mize, clinched doubles point in both opening weekend matches 
- Comes to Ole Miss ranked as high as No. 298 in the ITF Junior Rankings 

Reka Zadori (Sr.) – Szeged, Hungary 
- Sits in 30th place on the Ole Miss all-time career singles wins list with 56 
- Has a 57-44 career singles record and a 28-22 career doubles record 
- Her 9-3 record at No. 6 singles was the best in the SEC in 2023  
 
LAST TIME ON THE COURT
 
- Krzyzak and Kette both won on their courts against No. 18 Auburn and No. 21 Alabama
- Hrastar added a ranked victory under her belt with a 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) score
- Kareisova also earned a first ranked win of the season against No. 21 Alabama after a 6-1, 6-2 rally
- Leclercq-Ficher finished 6-2, 6-4 on court four verses No. 21 Alabama
- Kette completed the clinch after a 7-5, 2-6, 6-2 win to secure the match against No. 21 Alabama

MILESTONE MARKER
- Kareisova grabbed her 25 dual doubles victory against No. 64 Kentucky
- Kette earned her 25 career singles win in the win over No. 21 Alabama
- Kette is two overall doubles wins away from 20 in her career

HEAD COACH MARK BEYERS 
- Beyers is in his 23rd year coaching the Ole Miss women's tennis team 
- He has compiled a 291-248 record with Ole Miss and a 341-256 career record 
- Earned ITA South Region Coach of the Year in 2010, 2012, and 2018 
- Led the team to seven NCAA Second Round appearances and one Sweet 16 appearance 
- Coached the only Ole Miss NCAA Singles Champion, Arianne Hartono, eight All-Americans and 36 All-SEC players 

OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE NET  
South Carolina
The Gamecocks lean on graduate student Ayana Akill for another year, as she has an overall record of 21-8. Ranked in both singles and doubles, Akli dominates in the first court for No. 15 South Carolina. The second slot is ruled by Sarah Hamner, who is one of Akli's partners for doubles. No. 9 Hamner is a strong asset for the Gamecocks, sporting a 12-1 dual singles record on the season.

Florida
The Florida roster is filled with a mix of veterans and newcomers. Leading the pack are graduate student Carly Briggs and senior Sara Dahlstrom, who are both ranked in ITA singles. Dancing between the second through fourth slot, Dalstrom brings a 4-1 conference play record on the season. In the realm of doubles, Briggs and Qavia Lopez are 3-0 in dual doubles on the season with a comfortable position on court two.

CLIMBING THE RANKINGS
After defeating No. 34 LSU for Ole Miss's first-ranked victory of the season, Ole Miss shot up the rankings, taking the Tigers' spot at No. 34 from No. 42. Then took a match over No. 64 Kentucky to move up to No. 33. After a 5-2 victory over No. 21 Alabama, the Rebels have moved up again to No. 30. It marks the Rebels' highest ranking since May 26, 2021, when the team was ranked 28th in the nation.
In the current standings, the Rebels have competed against eight top-75 teams. The Rebels are 3-3 in ranked matchups this season.

PUT IT ON THE SHELF
In a 4-2 win over No. 21 Alabama, the Rebels notched their first two ranked singles wins. At the second position, Kareisova shut down the 104th-ranked Petra Sedlackova in a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Hrastar mounted a comeback on a third-set tiebreaking win, taking down No. 46 Loudmilla Bencheikh, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6(4) to clinch the win.
 
HIGH FIVE
Ole Miss has five players with 10 or more overall singles wins on the season. Krzyzak leads the Rebels with 15. Kette is second on the team with 13, followed by Hrastar with 12. Crowley and Nova round out the five, each having 11. Zadori needs one more win in singles to add to the team's total.

Four Rebels have accumulated 10 or more doubles wins. Hrastar, Crowley, Kareisova, and Devier all have 12.

BOTTOMS UP
The fourth to sixth position is a combined 27-11 for the Rebels in dual singles. The sophomore Kette leads the way with a 9-1 record, primarily at both the fifth and sixth position. In addition, four different Rebels at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions are getting it down. In the fourth position, Leclercq-FIcher going 5-2 and Krzyzak going 4-2 has helped the Ole Miss to their 10 wins. Five different Rebels have contributed to the 10-2 record at No. 6 singles.

SOPHOMORE CAMPAIGN 
Kette is off to a great start after a 12-7 freshman campaign in dual singles matches. The Germany native is 9-1 so far this season after adding two more wins in the fifth slot against No. 18 Auburn and No. 21 Alabama.

FEELIN' THE FIRE
Rachel Krzyzak earned her 40th career singles win against No. 21 Alabama, where her final score was 6-4, 6-4. This ties her for 48th in program history for most wins. Krzyzak has had a remarkable season thus far, where she has compiled a 15-9 record for the 2023-2024 year.
