Women’s Tennis Hosts Final Conference Play against Missouri, Arkansas

OXFORD, Miss.— The Rebels return to Oxford to host their final conference matches against Missouri Friday, Apr. 12th at 3 p.m. and Arkansas for senior day on Sunday, Apr. 14th at 1 p.m.  

The public can access live scoring and live streaming, which is available for both matches. Links to both can be found above and on the Ole Miss women's tennis schedule page.   

THE REBELS  
Briana Crowley (Sr.) – Westfield, Ind.                                          
- Grabbed first ranked singles win of the season, defeating No. 109 Qavia Lopez 

- Started the season 7-1 in dual-singles 
- Joins the Rebels after three seasons at Northwestern   
- Compiled a career singles record of 45-36 and a doubles record of 58-41   
- Former Blue Chip five-star recruit   

Lucie Devier (Sr.) – Etrechy, France   
- Grabbed 10th doubles win as a Rebel against No. 30 Vanderbilt 
- Earned first singles win as a Rebel at the Roberta Alison Invitational   
- Returns to Ole Miss after missing all last season   
- Transferred from North Texas in 2022   

Ava Hrastar (Sr.) – Duluth, Ga.   
- Earned first ranked singles win of the season, defeating No. 46 Bencheikh 
- Two-time NCAA Doubles Championship qualifier   
- 2022 All-American and All-ACC Third Team honors   
- Former five-star recruit, ranked 1st out of Georgia and 18th nationally   
 

Ludmila Kareisová (Jr.) – Liberec, Czechia  

- Leads team with 13 total doubles victories (13-8 record)  

- Compiled 6-4 doubles record in the conference at the second position  
- Grabbed first ranked singles win of the season, defeating No. 104 Sedlackova 
- 2023 NCAA Singles Championships qualifier   
- Named 2023 All-SEC Second Team   

Emma Kette (So.) – Rammelsbach, Germany   
- Registered an 11-3 in dual singles and 7-3 in conference 
- Finished 2023 with a 12-10 singles record and 11-9 doubles record   
- Appeared in all 24 matches in the spring   

Rachel Krzyzak (Jr.) – Milton, Ontario, Canada   
- Leads team with 16 total singles victories (16-9 record) 

- Tied for 46th in career-high singles with 41 wins in program history 
- Career singles record of 41-36 and doubles record of 24-35   

Anaelle Leclercq-Ficher (Jr.) – La Perche, France   
- Tallied a 5-3 conference singles record and 6-4 doubles so far 
- Clinched the win over No. 34 LSU, first Ole Miss ranked victory of the year 
- Compiled 24 career singles wins and 34 career doubles victories   

Kelsey Mize (Sr.) – Tulsa, Okla.   

- Earned tenth doubles win of the season against Purdue   
- Accomplished 50 doubles wins and is top 30 in program history   

Andrea Nova (Fr.) – Prague, Czechia   
- Third straight Rebel freshman to win doubles and singles in her first match   
- Joined by Mize, clinched doubles point in both opening weekend matches   
- Comes to Ole Miss ranked as high as No. 298 in the ITF Junior Rankings   

Reka Zadori (Sr.) – Szeged, Hungary   
- Sits in 30th place on the Ole Miss all-time career singles wins list with 56   
- Has a 57-44 career singles record and a 28-22 career doubles record   
- Her 9-3 record at No. 6 singles was the best in the SEC in 2023    

 LAST TIME ON THE COURT   
- Kareisova won her first set against No. 35 Alexandra Vecic, 6-4 at Georgia 
- Leclercq-Ficher forced a third set in Georgia in the fourth singles position 

- Kette also won her first set verses Georgia, 6-4 

MILESTONE MARKER  
- Kareisova is three overall singles wins away from 40 in her career 

- Kette needs three more singles victories for 30 in her career 

- Kette is two overall doubles wins away from 20 in her career 

- Zadori is four singles wins from 60 and tied for 27th in program history   
- Zadori is two doubles wins away from 30 in her career    

 HEAD COACH MARK BEYERS   
- Beyers is in his 23rd year coaching the Ole Miss women's tennis team   
- He has compiled a 291-250 record with Ole Miss and a 341-258 career record   
- Earned ITA South Region Coach of the Year in 2010, 2012, and 2018   
- Led the team to seven NCAA Second Round appearances and one Sweet 16 appearance   
- Coached the only Ole Miss NCAA Singles Champion, Arianne Hartono, eight All-Americans and 36 All-SEC players   

OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE NET   
Missouri 
The Tigers are comprised of a more veteran roster, with four transfers moving in. A nice pairing in doubles, sisters Inah and Mae Canete split a 9-9 record on court one. Missouri also has the two sisters at the first and second positions in singles.  

Arkansas 
Amongst the older teammates, sophomore Carolina Gomez Alonso is a standout in the first slot for Arkansas, with a 10-7 dual singles record. Graduate student Kacie Harvey is a nice addition to the back of the lineup between the fourth and sixth courts. Morgan Cross is a dynamic partner in doubles, alongside Indianna Spink on court one, with a tallied 4-3 conference record.

HIGH FIVE 
Ole Miss has five players with 10 or more overall singles wins on the season. Krzyzak leads the Rebels with 16. Kette is second on the team with 15. Crowley and Hrastar each have 12 on the year. Nova rounds out the five with her 11 total singles wins. Zadori needs one more win in singles to add to the team's total. 

Four Rebels have accumulated 10 or more doubles wins. Kareisova leads the way with 13 total doubles wins, while Hrastar, Crowley, and Mize have 12. 

BOTTOMS UP 
The fourth to sixth position is a combined 31-17 for the Rebels in dual singles. The sophomore Kette leads the way with an 11-3 record, primarily at the fifth and sixth positions. In the fourth position, Leclercq-FIcher going 5-3 and Krzyzak going 4-3 has helped the Ole Miss to their 10 wins. Five different Rebels have contributed to the 11-5 record at No. 6 singles. 

STRONG SOPHOMORE CAMPAIGN   
Kette has seen no sophomore slump as the Rammelsbach, Germany native has surpassed her marks from her first year in Oxford. Kette is already 15-7, which is three more wins than last year, with at least five remaining matches. She has also done it in dominant fashion, recording an 11-3 record in dual singles matches and a 7-3 record in the SEC, mainly from the fifth and sixth positions (6-0 at No. 5).
