Women's Tennis Secures Victory Over Missouri, 4-0

OXFORD, Miss – The Ole Miss Women's Tennis team took home a victory against Missouri, 4-0, at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center on Friday.
The Rebels (12-10, 5-7 SEC) had an electric start to doubles when Ava Hrastar and Anaelle Leclerq-Ficher dialed in with a score of 6-1. Quickly following suit, Kelsey Mize and Ludmila Karesiova finished with a score of 6-3 to secure the doubles point.
Five of the six courts secured a first set singles win to continue the momentum for the match against the Tigers (5-20, 0-12 SEC).
Briana Crowley kept up the fight to finish first for Ole Miss, with a victory of 6-3, 6-3. Like clockwork, Leclercq-Ficher added another point with a dominant 6-2, 6-3, victory.
The match was clinched once Emma Kette stole the show with a final of 6-3, 6-3.
Kareisova put up a fight in the first slot after being down in her first set, tacking on a 6-2 second set to force a third, going unfinished with courts six and two.
Up next, the Rebels host their final home match against Arkansas Friday, April 14 at 1 p.m. Ole Miss will also host its senior day prior to the match.
