2016 - Norman Regional
Ole Miss softball received their first NCAA Tournament berth in 2016, advancing to the Norman Regional. The Rebels, in their first-ever NCAA Tournament game, took care of business cruising to a 5-1 victory over Tulsa. After falling to the host, the Oklahoma Sooners, the next day, Ole Miss staved off elimination by blanking Wichita State 4-0 behind a complete-game shutout from pitcher Madi Osias.
The Rebels' historic season would come to an end on Championship Sunday with a 3-0 loss to No. 3 and eventual National Champion Oklahoma.
The team's run set a new standard for the program with an at-the-time record 41 wins.
2017 - Oxford Regional
In 2017, Ole Miss rode the right arm of junior pitcher Kaitlin Lee to an SEC Tournament Championship in Knoxville, earning the right to host an NCAA Regional for the first time in program history.
Ole Miss cruised through their opening game defeating SIU 8-0 in just five innings and secured a spot on Championship Sunday with a 2-0 victory over No. 22 Arizona State the next day.
The Rebels met up with North Carolina in the Regional Finals. After going down 2-0 early, Ole Miss' bats woke up, scoring seven unanswered, including a moonshot from Brittany Finney who had three RBI in the game.
Ole Miss advanced to the Super Regionals for the first time in program history, battling with UCLA on the West Coast before their season came to an end with a program record 43 wins.
2018 - Tempe Regional
A year after besting Arizona State in the Oxford Regional, Ole Miss was sent to Tempe in 2018 where they handled business in two games against Long Beach State, but fell to the host Sun Devils on two occasions.
It was the third year in a row that the Rebels advanced to a Regional Final and another opportunity to display their talents on the big stage. Junior outfielder Kylan Becker batted .556 during the regional, while freshman Abbey Latham registered a .455 average, belting three home runs.
2019 - Oxford Regional
The Rebs got an opportunity for some home cooking again in 2019, hosting Chattanooga, Louisiana and Southeast Missouri in the Oxford Regional of the NCAA Tournament.
After a five-inning run-rule victory over the Mocs, Ole Miss faced adversity, losing 2-0 to Louisiana. For the remainder of the Regional, the Rebs would be on the brink of elimination.
Ole Miss returned to the field after their Saturday afternoon loss to the Ragin' Cajuns and responded in a big way, run-ruling SEMO 10-0 in five innings, setting up a rematch with Louisiana.
Ole Miss punched first on Sunday and never looked back, using a five-run third inning to force a winner-take-all game with a 5-1 victory over the Ragin' Cajuns. The win snapped Louisiana's 29-game winning streak in the process.
In the regional's seventh-and-final game, Ole Miss stormed back in the bottom of the seventh inning to walk off the Ragin' Cajuns 5-4 to earn another Regional Championship and advantage to the Super Regionals. Finney garnered the victory throwing 6.0 innings, allowing two runs on five hits with three strikeouts and Kaylee Horton delivered the game-winning RBI for the Rebs.
2021 - Tucson Regional
In Year One of the Jamie Trachsel Era, Ole Miss continued to meet the standard of making NCAA Tournaments and were once again sent to the Grand Canyon State for Regional play, this time to Tucson, the home of the No. 9 seed Arizona Wildcats.
The Rebels opened up regional play with a 5-1 victory over Villanova on Friday and would face 'Nova again after a battle with Arizona on Saturday. Round Two would result in a similar outcome: an Ole Miss victory over their foes from Philadelphia, but Round Two with Arizona would also end with a loss effectively ending the Rebs season in the Regional Final.
2022 - Los Angeles Regional
The 2022 Regional proved to be an opportunity for Ole Miss to display their resiliency in postseason play. The Rebs dropped game one of the weekend to LMU, but battled all the way back to advance to Championship Sunday for a tilt with host UCLA. Unfortunately for Ole Miss, its magical 42-win season would come to an end at the hands of the No. 5 Bruins.
2023 - Salt Lake City Regional
Ole Miss once again traveled west for postseason play in 2023, heading to a Salt Lake City Regional that boasted three Power 5 representatives: Ole Miss, Utah and Baylor. The Rebs opened up the weekend with a bang, riding a stellar performance from Catelyn Riley in the circle to a 3-0 shutout win over the Bears.
A loss to the Utes in the next game would set up a rematch with Baylor on Saturday night. The Ole Miss offense exploded for five runs across the first three innings and, just for good measure, added four more in the bottom of the sixth on their way to a 9-2 dub.
The Rebs were unable to overcome a three-run second inning against Utah on Sunday, eventually falling 4-1 to the Regional host.
2024 - Lafayette Regional
Up next, Ole Miss sets their sights on the Lafayette Regional. The field includes Louisiana, Baylor and Princeton.
