Ole Miss Wide Receivers Ranked No. 2 Nationally by PFF
6/21/2024 | Football
OXFORD, Miss. – Heisman Trophy contender Jaxson Dart will have no shortage of options when he scans the field for Ole Miss football in 2024, and experts believe he'll be looking out at one of the most talented pass-catching groups in the college football.
Pro Football Focus ranked the top 10 receiving corps in the nation, slotting Ole Miss at No. 2 behind only Oregon and ahead of all SEC rivals.
"Ole Miss brings back one of the nation's 10 best wide receivers in Tre Harris and a top-10 tight end in Caden Prieskorn," wrote PFF's Max Chadwick. "Harris tied for sixth among FBS receivers in 2023 with an 89.6 receiving grade. Prieskorn is fourth among all tight ends in the country with 1,051 receiving yards over the last two years. The Rebels also return their No. 3 receiver in Jordan Watkins, who tied for seventh among SEC receivers with 21 catches that went for at least 15 yards."
Tre Harris, Caden Prieskorn, Jordan Watkins and company were joined by even more talented pass-catchers in the offseason, including Antwane Wells Jr. and Dae'Quan Wright. Coaches are also excited to see how star sophomores Cayden Lee and Ayden Williams perform after flashing talent as freshmen.
