Jaxson Dart One of ESPN's Top 10 Heisman Trophy Contenders

OXFORD, Miss. – Jaxson Dart announcing his return for the 2024 college football season was perhaps the biggest recruiting coup for Lane Kiffin this offseason, as the Ole Miss football head coach will have a Heisman Trophy contender guiding his team this year.
ESPN named Dart the No. 6 Heisman Trophy contender in the country on a list that features nine quarterbacks and five Southeastern Conference players, including SEC QBs Carson Beck and Quinn Ewers at No. 1 and 2, respectively.
"Told you we'd get to this guy. Remember one year ago when there were doubts he'd even be the starter? The guy with the Anakin Skywalker eye black went full Jedi Temple attack with 3,364 yards passing and 31 total TDs versus only five INTs, then decided to come back for more," wrote the ESPN staff.
