Men’s Tennis Continues Fall Campaign With an ITF Future

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Noah Schlagenhauf and Loan Lestir will be heading up north to represent Ole Miss men's tennis at an ITF Future tournament at the Varsity Tennis Center on Michigan's campus from Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
Schlagenhauf and Lestir last competed at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa Oklahoma. In his collegiate debut, Lestir notched his first win of the season by defeating Nikita Volonski from Grand Canyon in three sets, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5.
Over Schlagenhauf's time in Tulsa, the junior added four singles wins to the books and stayed undefeated through the pre-qualifying round. The Nuertingen, Germany, native holds an impressive 7-1 singles record on the season and will look to add to his record this week.
Lestir and Schlagenhauf will start in the qualifying round on Monday with the opportunity to advance to the main draw.
THE REBELS
Noah Schlagenhauf (Jr.) - Nuertingen, Germany
- Advanced to the qualifying round at the ITA All-American Championships
- Currently boasts a 7-1 singles record in the 2024-25 season
- Concluded the 2023-24 season with an overall record of 16-10 singles record and an 8-11 record in doubles
- Tallied the second highest conference victories in singles on the team with five last year
- Won 12 singles matches in straight sets in 2023-24
Loan Lestir (Fr.) - Lille, France
- Made his collegiate debut at the ITA All-American Championships
- Defeated Nikita Volonski (Grand Canyon), 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, to capture his first collegiate win at the ITA All-American Championships
- Garners an impressive 12.42 UTR
- Tallied a career-high ITF junior ranking of No. 127
- Named a finalist for doubles in the national French championship and advanced to the semi-finals two years in a row

FALL SEASON CONTINUES
After their trip to Michigan, Ole Miss will hit the road to LSU for the ITA Regionals (Oct. 16-21) and then will travel back to Oklahoma to compete in another ITF Future in Norman (Oct. 21-27). The Rebels will continue their fall run in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia Tech Fall Invite (Nov. 1-3) before traveling west to the ITA Masters in San Diego, California (Nov. 7-10). The Rebels will conclude their fall slate at the ITA Sectionals (Nov. 7-10) with the location to be announced at a later date.
