Men’s Tennis Set up for a Pair of Weekend Tournaments

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss men's tennis will send multiple Rebels to two different tournaments this weekend, both of which take place from Oct. 31 – Nov. 2.
Pietro Pampanin, Noah Schlagenhauf, Loan Lestir and Kai Milburn will be the group of Rebels headed to Princeton, New Jersey, for the Farnsworth Invitational.
The three-day tournament will be held at the Racquet Center on Princeton's campus and will consist of six teams.

1pm - Princeton v. ODU
Gordon Whitwell and Benjamin Martin will be the other group of Rebels competing this weekend, but at the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational in Atlanta, Georgia.
The three-day tournament will be held at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex on Georgia Tech's campus. The tournamet schedule can be found below.

THE REBELS
Loan Lestir (So.) – Lille, France
- Secured a 14-12 Singles record in his rookie season
- Tallied a team-high 10 singles dual wins
-Captured six SEC singles victories
- Clinched match against Memphis in collegiate dual debut
Kai Milburn (So.) – Queenstown, New Zealand
- Compiled an 8-2 record in singles
- Secured seven dual wins in doubles, six on court 1
- Played primarily on court No. 6 in singles and court No. 1 in doubles
- Captured two conference victories on the doubles court
-Ranked as high as No. 51 in the ITA doubles rankings with Isac Strömberg
Pietro Pampanin (Fr.) – Trieste, Italy
- Won M15 Getxo doubles title to secure first ITF World Tennis Tour victory
- Strung together 18 ITF points across two years
- Earned ITF career-high singles ranking of No. 24
- Notched an ATP career-best doubles ranking of No. 813
Noah Schlagenhauf (Sr.) – Nuertingen, Germany
- Earned a 17-19 overall singles record, primarily in the No. 1 spot
- Earned 10 doubles victories during the 2025 campaign
Benjamin Martin (So.) – Nort-sur-Erdre, France
- Notched 11 single victories
- Earned 13 wins in doubles play
- Tied a team-high nine dual doubles wins
Gordon Whitwell (Sr.) – Oxford, Mississippi
- Finished the season with an overall 4-4 record in singles and 3-2 record in doubles
- Primarily played on court six for singles and doubles
- Had a perfect 3-0 record in dual singles matches
LAST TIME OUT
Ole Miss men's tennis sophomore Loan Lestir won the Outstanding Player Award at the SEC-ACC Challenge. Lestir went 3-0 in singles matches over the weekend and only dropped one set, despite the Rebels dropping their matchup with Columbia on the final day of the tournament.
RETURNING REBELS
Ole Miss has seven returning players from last year's team. Isac Strömberg returns to the Rebels after earning 12 singles wins during the 2025 season. Another returner, Schlagenhauf, earned 10 doubles victories during the 2025 campaign. Along with them sophomore standout Matthieu Chambonniere finished the season with a 23-7 singles record.
FRESH FACES
The Rebels bring in three freshmen to the roster this offseason. All are ranked in the ITA Newcomer rankings, D'Agostino ranked seventh, Jankanj ranked 14th and Pampanin ranked 17th.
