Court Report: Big Week Ahead

2/25/2025 | Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Athletics

OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss men's and women's basketball teams have four games against three Top 10 teams on the schedule this week.

Scroll on to take a look at all the key matchups coming up, including several marquee games at the SJB Pavilion.

MBB at No. 1 Auburn
Ole Miss jumped out to an early lead when No. 1 Auburn came to the SJB Pavilion on Feb. 1 and trailed by just one in the final 10 minutes, but the top-ranked Tigers closed strong in a 92-82 final. The Rebels are 3-2 since then and will look to snap a two-game skid. Auburn has remained No. 1 and is 5-1 since the win in Oxford, its loss coming at home to No. 6 Florida. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CT Wednesday night on ESPN2.

WBB vs. No. 6 South Carolina
The last time South Carolina came to Oxford, it nearly left with a loss. Yolett McPhee-McCuin's squad led by one with a minute to go, but the top-ranked Gamecocks tied it up before the end of regulation and escaped with an overtime win. South Carolina is on a two-game win streak after suffering just its third loss of the season on Feb. 16 against UConn. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. CT on Thursday and will air on ESPN. MBB vs. Oklahoma
After taking on Auburn in the midweek, the men will return home to host Oklahoma on Saturday for the first time since the Sooners joined the SEC. OU has struggled its first year in the SEC with a 4-10 record so far in league play but picked up a key win over Mississippi State this past Saturday. The Sooners will host Kentucky on Wednesday before heading to Oxford. Tip is set for 1 p.m. CT. A limited quantity of tickets remains, so click here to secure your seat!

WBB at No. 7 LSU
Following the home finale against South Carolina, the women will head back on the road for their regular-season finale at No. 7 LSU, making it back-to-back games against recent national champions to close out the year. The Tigers are 27-2 with their only losses to South Carolina and No. 3 Texas. LSU has won back-to-back games over Georgia and Kentucky and will host No. 20 Alabama on Thursday before welcoming the Rebels for the finale.

Looking Ahead
Women's hoops will head on to the SEC Tournament in Greenville, South Carolina, next week. Men's hoops will close it out with No. 5 Tennessee and No. 3 Florida in its final week of the regular season. Click here for tickets for the Rebels' home finale against the Volunteers.
