Women’s Golf Preps for Regular Season Finale

SUNSET, S.C. – The Ole Miss women's golf team will wrap up regular season play at the Clemson Invitational, Friday thru Sunday, at The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
The three-day, 54-hole affair, features 15 teams in the field, with five of those squads sitting in the top 25 in the Scoreboard rankings powered by Clippd.

LINEUP
Kajsalotta Svarvar (Fr.)
-- Holds a 72.48 scoring average for the Rebels
-- Has tallied four top-25 finishes this season
-- Shot a 65 on day two at the Illini Invitational to notch the lowest round score by a freshman in program history
-- Earned her first top-10 finish of her young career at Illini Invitational, tying for seventh
-- Notched the lowest third-round score for the Rebels at the Cougar Classic, shooting 4-under

-- Holds a season stroke average of 73.29 in 2024-25
-- Tallied seven rounds even or below par in the fall season
-- Competed in all 21 rounds for the Rebels this year
-- Secured her career-best individual finish, tying for fifth at the Mary Fossum Invitational
-- Shot a 69-73-71– 213 (-3) at the Illini Invitational to capture a career best 54-hole score
Caitlyn Macnab (Sr.)
-- Leads the team in scoring average with a 70.71
-- Has finished in the top 20 in all even tournaments in 2024-25, including two top-5 placings
-- Captured her fourth career medalist finish at the Mary Fossum Invitational, securing the 18-hole (63) and 54-hole (204) course and tournament records
-- Marked the second lowest round score in program history with a 63 (-9) at Mary Fossum Invitational
-- Invited to compete in fourth career Augusta National Women's Amateur (ANWA)

REBELS IN THE RANKINGS
The Rebels head to Florida coming in at No. 14 in the Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll and No. 15 in the Scoreboard rankings powered by Clippd. The team is led by Macnab who sits in the No. 34 slot for individual rankings. Gal, Svarvar and Sundquist also all find themselves placed in the top 200 college golfers across the country, being ranked No. 66, No. 152 and No. 193 respectively.
THE COURSE
At The Reserve at Lake Keowee, Jack Nicklaus is working from a magnificent canvas spanning lush, rolling foothills to the sparkling lakeside. The setting is a private 3,200-acre golf and recreation community with 20 miles of shoreline on the northeastern corner of Lake Keowee. It's fronted by S.C. Highway 133 and is 1.6 miles south of the Cherokee foothills Scenic Parkway. The property contains natural features typical of the foothills and the Blue Ridge Escarpment region – sloping terrain, lake and mountain views and mature forests of mixed hardwoods and pines.
LAST TIME OUT
Ole Miss took a break in tournament play earlier this month and competed in the Old Barnwell Derby Match Play in Aiken, South Carolina. The event utilized a bracket style format over two days to determine a champion and featured eight of the top teams in the nation. The Rebels finished play 1-2 with a win over No. 18 Auburn. Kajsalotta Svarvar finished play at Old Barnwell with a perfect 3-0 match play record.
