No. 1 Men’s Golf Finishes Play at SEC Championship

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The No. 1 Ole Miss men's golf team concluded play at the 2025 SEC Championship Friday in St. Simons Island, Georgia. The Rebels finished 10th with a team score of (838, -2), four strokes shy of the cut line.
Nobody went lower than Tom Fischer on Friday as the junior tied a career-low 18-hole score of seven-under par. His 63 at the Seaside Course included two eagles on his front nine as he reached six-under through his first 10 holes. Fischer finished T16 marking his sixth top 20 finish of the season.
Kye Meeks and Michael La Sasso both shot even-par in round three. Meeks finished the tournament at two-under and La Sasso finished at one-over par.
Cameron Tankersley carded a one-over 71 in round three and finished at three-over for the week.
Ole Miss will wait to learn their postseason fate with the NCAA Selection Show on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. It is there that the team will learn what seed and NCAA Regional they will be traveling to May 12-14.
