Men’s Track & Field No. 7, Women No. 21 in Week One USTFCCCA Rating Index

NEW ORLEANS – Ole Miss men's track & field came in at No. 7 while the Rebel women have been slotted at No. 21 in the initial USTFCCCA Track & Field Rating Index for the indoor season, as announced by the association on Tuesday afternoon.
This marks the highest ranking for the Rebel men indoors since a program record No. 5 debut indoors in 2023, their seventh top-10 ranking indoors – all of which have come under head coach Connie Price-Smith. In her time with the Rebels, Price-Smith owns 84 of the 117 all-time indoor rankings appearances in Ole Miss history (50 women, 34 men).
The USTFCCCA's Track & Field Rating Index is a computer rating system which uses an algorithm that emphasizes individual performances, assigning a point value to each individual mark that contributes to a team total to assess its national ranking.
Both Rebel squads will hit the road this week for Clemson's Bob Pollock Invitational, which is set to run Jan. 30-31.
