SERIES HISTORY
Sunday marks the19th overall matchup between Ole Miss and Texas A&M. The Aggies hold a 12-6 record in the series which dates to 1995. The Rebels have won four of the past six meetings, featuring a 57-38 victory on Jan. 8, 2023. Texas A&M scored only 38 points, which is the fewest allowed by Ole Miss against an SEC opponent in program history. Texas A&M made one 3-pointer in 13 attempts in that game, shooting only 34.04% from the field.

The Rebels beat the Aggies twice in 2023. Their second victory came in the first round of the SEC Tournament. Four players reached double figures, as Angel Baker led the team with 23 points. Madison Scott had 16 points and a team-leading eight rebounds to help the Rebels move on in the tournament.

Ole Miss is looking to get back into the win column against Texas A&M, having dropped the past two outings to the Aggies.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
Joni Taylor is in her fourth season guiding Texas A&M's women's basketball program. She's accumulated a 51-63 overall record as the Aggies leader. Entering Sunday's competition, the Aggies sit at 13-11 and are currently on a four-game winning streak. A win over No. 21 Tennessee kickstarted the streak, which was Texas A&M's first ranked road win since January 2021.

The Aggies are averaging 66.0 points per game, most of it coming from Ny'Ceara Pryor. Pryor has the second most career points among all active SEC student-athletes, sitting north of 2,100 for her overall career. She scored most of her points at her previous school, Sacred Heart. For the Aggies, she leads the team with 15.9 points per game, which is top 15 in the SEC. She's a true triple threat, as she also dishes out 7.3 assists and has 3.6 steals per game, the latter leads the conference.

Fatmata Janneh has been a solid addition to Texas A&M's lineup from Saint Peters. The junior from London is averaging a double-double with 11.9 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. She has 11 double-doubles this season, which is tied with Ole Miss' Christeen Iwuala for the fifth most in the conference.

LAST TIME OUT
No. 19/20 Ole Miss women's basketball fell to Florida, 74-67, Thursday evening at Exactech Arena at Stephen O'Connel Center.

Tianna Thompson had a career night for the Rebels, scoring a career high 25 points. She drained seven 3-pointers to reach that total, which is tied with several Rebels for the fourth-most triples in a single game in program history. The last Rebel to do so was Torri Lewis against Alabama on Feb. 11, 2018.

Behind Thompson were Cotie McMahon and Christeen Iwuala, who scored 15 and 10 points, respectively. McMahon reached double-digit scoring marks for the 28th time this season. The most recent Rebel to have that many such games was Crystal Allen in 2018-19.

Latasha Lattimore made Ole Miss history with two blocks against the Gators. She reached 66 blocks this season, which is tied with Shakira Austin for the third most blocks by any Rebel in a single season. Austin accomplished her defensive feat in the 2021-22 season.

Florida's Liv McGill led the Gators with 28 points, eight assists and six rebounds.

NO FLY ZONE
As a team, Ole Miss has rejected 152 shots so far this season for an average of 5.1 blocks per game. The Rebels are on pace for 170 blocks this season at their current pace, which would be the third most in program history. All 12 Rebels has earned at least one block so far this season.

Latasha Lattimore leads the Rebels with 66 total blocks, ranking third in the SEC and 11th in the nation, tying for the third most in a single season in program history and registers the most by any Rebel in a single season since 2021-22 when Shakira Austin had 66. Lattimore surpassed the 50-block mark for the year, marking two of the last three seasons Ole Miss has had at least one player reach that defensive standard.

Lattimore has 12 games this season in which she has tallied at least three blocks. The last Rebel to have that many games with a trio of blocks was Promise Taylor, who had 14 in 2017-18. Additionally, Lattimore tallied a 12 consecutive game streak with at least one block this season from the George Mason game on November 29, 2025 to the Oklahoma game on January 8, 2026, marking the longest such streak by a Rebel since Dominique Banks had a 17-game streak during the 2019-20 season.

SHE'S THE mcMAHON
Cotie McMahon has provided a spark to the Ole Miss offense in her first season in Oxford. She now has 17 games of at least 20 points this season. It's tied with Peggie Gillom (who did it twice) for the third most in a single season by any Rebel ever and is the most since Bianca Thomas had 19 such games in 2009-10. Thomas' mark ranks second in program history. At the minimal level, McMahon has reached double-digit points in 28 games this season, which is the most by a Rebel since Crystal Allen had 28 in 2018-19. She also joins Angel Baker and Armintie Price as the only Rebels ever to have at least 2000 points, 600 rebounds and 300 assists in their career.

Entering today's game, McMahon is four points away from 600 total this year, which would make her the seventh Rebel to achieve this feat in program history. She would be the first Ole Miss player since Bianca Thomas scored 670 during the 2009-10 season.

McMahon likes to share the love, as the five times that she has earned a double-double in a game, another Rebel has earned the same feat. Alongside McMahon, Christeen Iwuala earned double-doubles against Southern and Memphis, Latasha Lattimore earned two against Wofford and Tennessee, and Sira Thienou notched a double-double versus Missouri.

McMahon scored at least 10 points in each of Ole Miss' first 19 games this season, tying Thomas for the longest such streak in recent memory by a Rebel, who started the 2009-10 season with 19 consecutive games of double-digit points.
