OUTDOOR: Placed 14th at the NCAA Championships in the high jump (2.12m/6-11.5) to earn USTFCCCA Second Team All-America honors … qualified for the NCAA Championships by tying for first at the NCAA East Preliminary (2.13m/6-11.75) … placed 11th in the high jump (2.04m/6-8.25) and 14th in the long jump (season-best 7.25m/23-9.5) at the SEC Championships … won the high jump at the Virginia Challenge with a career-best outdoor height of 2.16m/7-1 (No. 4 in school history) … finished second in the high jump (2.09m/6-10.25) and sixth in the long jump (7.09m/23-3.25) at the LSU Invitational … his height of 2.08m/6-9.75 in the high jump at the Drake Relays was good for eighth place … opened the season by finishing runner-up in the high jump at the Yellow Jacket Invitational (2.10m/6-10.75).

BEFORE OLE MISS: Two-year member of the Southwestern College track & field team ... two-time California junior college state champion in the high jump, defeating future Ole Miss teammate Adam Aguirre both times ... placed seventh in the long jump at the state championships as a freshman and ninth as a sophomore ... achieved junior college personal bests and Southwestern school records of 7-0.5 in the high jump and 24-0.75 in the long jump ... lettered two years in track & field at Bonita Vista High School ... established school records in the high jump (6-9) and long jump (21-2) and was the Mesa League high jump champion as a senior ... lettered four years in basketball and one in volleyball.
