BEFORE OLE MISS: Competed in the heptathlon at the 2011 USATF Junior Olympics (2nd place), 2012 USATF Junior Olympics (3rd place) and 2013 USATF Junior National Championships (10th place) ... 2012 and 2013 Washington state heptathlon champion ... won class 2A WIAA state titles in the 200 meters, 400 meters and 100-meter hurdles as both a junior and senior ... nationally ranked in the 400 and heptathlon during her junior season ... achieved personal bests and Tumwater school records in the 200 (24.80),400 (54.37), 100 hurdles (14.43), 300 hurdles (45.25), high jump (5-5) and heptathlon (4,917) ... also clocked a personal best of 2:17.86 in the 800 ... was named team MVP and won the title of Best Female Athlete at Tumwater ... also played basketball, helping her team to a fourth-place finish in the state playoffs ... graduated with honors.
