OXFORD, Miss. - J.T. Harrison's RBI double to score Glen Morris in the eighth inning broke a 2-2 tie, and Justin Huisman pitched a scoreless ninth inning to give Ole Miss its first three- game SEC sweep since 1989 by defeating Kentucky 3-2 Sunday afternoon.

The win also the Rebels' sixth-straight as they improved to 12-11 and 4-3 in the SEC. Kentucky dropped to 5-13 and 1-5 inside the conference.

"It's the first time we've done this," said Ole Miss head coach Pat Harrison on the Rebels' three-game sweep. "It's special. It's so important in the SEC to get some of these. It helps you down the road."

Morris led off the inning with a double and senior Brad Henderson followed with a walk to put runners on first and second for Harrison. Harrison tried to bunt the runners over on the first pitch from Nathan Kent but hit it foul. On the next pitch, Harrison showed bunt before bringing the bat back and slapping a double down the left field past the charging Kyle Hooker at third base.

Huisman then retired the Wildcats in order in the ninth to earn his sixth save of the season.

Cooper Campbell, 3-1, pitched 1 2/3 innings of relief to earn his third win of the week and his second of the series with Kentucky.

Kent, 1-4, went all eight innings for the Wildcats in taking the loss, allowing three runs, two earned, on six hits and four walks. Kent also fanned 10.

Both teams picked up six hits each.

Henderson went 2-for-3 for Ole Miss to tie Kary Bridges for fourth-place on the Ole Miss career hit list with 233.

The Rebels will return to action Tuesday when they play Southern Mississippi in Jackson. Game time is 6:30 p.m. from Smith-Wills Stadium. Ole Miss will travel to LSU next weekend for a three-game SEC series starting Friday at 7:00 p.m. in Baton Rouge, La.
