OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Tarsha Bethley scored 26 points and Becky Myatt added 25 to lead Mississippi to an 86-77 win against No. 22 Auburn on Sunday.
Myatt tied a school record with seven 3-pointers and Ole Miss (15-11, 6-8 Southeastern Conference) shot 50 percent from the field in the game.
The Lady Rebels led 50-34 after a 3-pointer by Bethley, but Auburn cut the lead to nine at 63-54 on Shera Looney's jumper midway through the second half.
The Tigers (19-7, 8-6) could not stop Ole Miss from making 3-pointers. The Lady Rebels hit a school-record 16 3-pointers, breaking the previous record of 14 against Wright State on Dec. 15, 1996.
