Jennifer Gillom to Participate in WNBA Live Chat

NEW YORK - Jennifer Gillom, one of the all-time greatest players in Lady Rebel basketball history, and now a member of the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, will participate in a live chat on WNBA.com on Thursday, August 13, at 5 p.m., EST.
Gillom scored a WNBA season-high 36 points and had eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in a game against the Cleveland Rockers, Sunday. She currently ranks second in the league in scoring (20.7), fifth in three-point field goal percentage (.386), fourth in rebounding (7.4), tied for sixth in field goal percentage (.476) and eighth in steals (1.80).
This Sunday, Gillom will be featured in the WNBA special "Pure Passion" that will air on NBC from 5-6 p.m., EST. The one-hour special will focus on some of the extraordinary personal stories that surround the WNBA and women's basketball.
A former Kodak All-America, Gillom ranks second on the Ole Miss all-time career scoring list with 2,186 points. She also ranks third in rebounds (955) and blocked shots (112) and also holds the single season records for points with 742 and for season scoring average with 23.3 points per game in 1985-86.
