STARKVILLE, Miss. - Ole Miss freshman Takela Corbitt scored a career-high tying 18 points, but it was not enough as the Lady Rebels fell to rival Mississippi State, 69-55 in Southeastern Conference women's basketball action at Humphrey Coliseum on Thursday. LaToya Graham led the Lady Bulldogs with a double-double performance of 23 points and 14 rebounds.

The loss drops the Ole Miss overall record to 13-10 and its SEC mark to 4-8. The Lady Bulldogs improve to 13-9 overall and 5-7 in the SEC. The Mississippi State victory is only the third in the 55-game series, as the Lady Rebels hold a commanding 52-3 lead in the overall series.

Ole Miss would take another lead at 24-23 on a Bethley jumper at the 3:51 mark, but the Lady Bulldogs finished the first half with a 10-3 run to take a 33-27 lead at the intermission.
