Ole Miss Golf In 11th After Day One Of Intercollegiate

BATON ROUGE, La.-- The Ole Miss men's golf team is in 11th place after day one of the Country Club of Louisiana Intercollegiate in Baton Rouge, La. The Rebels shot a 36-hole total of 596 (295-301) on the first day of the tournament.
Tulsa is currently in the lead with a 36-hole total of 566 (283-283). UAB is second with a score of 567 (280-287).
Leading the way for the Rebels is Brenden Fisher, a sophomore from Augusta, Ga., is in a tie for 18th place with a score of 145 (74-71). Andrew Medley is tied for 36th place at 148 (73- 75), and Robert Dreyfus is tied for 43rd place with a score of 150 (73-77). Phil Caravia is tied for 61st place after carding a score of 155 (75-80). Tommy Clement is tied for 64th place with a 36- hole total of 156 (78-78).
The final round will be played on Tuesday and the Rebels will be back in action on Nov. 6-7, when they participate in the Henry Griffitts-Baylor Invitaional in Waco, Texas.
