Women's Basketball Takes Care Of Marist, 87-48

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Jennifer Fambrough scored 18 points to lead Mississippi State to a 87-48 win over Marist College on Friday night.
Mississippi's LaToya Thomas added 16 points and nine rebounds.
Mississippi State (9-2) opened the game with a 6-0 run and never relinquished its lead over Marist (2-9).
The Bulldogs increased their lead all during the second half outscoring Marist 49-27 after halftime. Mississippi State had an 11-4 run midway through the half to go up by 39 with 7:30 remaining.
Diesa Seidel led Marist with 14 points and Sabrina Vallery added 11.
