Game was delayed at 4:44 p.m., and was officially called at 5:30 p.m. in the top of the seventh.
Ole Miss starter Jeff McAvoy retired the first 10 batters he faced before allowing a one-out walk to Travis McElroy in the fourth.
Jeff McAvoy improved his career record to 10-2 at home, and has won his last eight decisions at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.
Senior 1B Jude Voltz has recorded at least one RBI in four of Ole Miss' five games this season.
Sophomore OF Burney Hutchinson extended his hitting streak to five games with an infield single in the second. The five-game hit streak is a career-best, surpassing his previous best of four games set last season from April 28-May 2.
Ole Miss batted around the order for the first time this season, sending 10 batters to the plate in the third, scoring four runs on six hits.
The Rebels have outscored their opponents 31-8 in the first five innings of play this season, including 23-2 in the first three innings.
