First Day of Softball Invitational Rained Out

OXFORD, Miss. - Friday's games of the Rebel/Easton Softball Invitational were postponed due to rain. The three games scheduled for Friday will be made up on Saturday and Sunday at Ole Miss Softball Complex.

The four-team tournament has six games on the slate for Saturday, with the opener played at 9 a.m. (CT) between Southwest Missouri State (0-0) and Samford (1-6). Five games will be played on Sunday, also beginning at 9.

Ole Miss (5-5), who is riding a four-game winning streak, opens play with Evansville (0-0) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, followed by Southwest Missouri at 3 and Samford at 7.
