Lady Rebels Host Lipscomb University On Sunday

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's basketball team will return to the friendly confines of Tad Smith Coliseum on Sunday afternoon when they play host to Lipscomb University at 2 p.m. The Lady Rebels enter Sunday's contest with a 4-0 record, including three-straight road wins over Morgan State, Illinois-Chicago and Arkansas-Little Rock.

Sophomore center Amber Watts leads Ole Miss in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and steals as she averages 14.3 points per game and 9.3 rebounds. Watts has also collected five blocks and seven steals. Junior guard Tenisha Gist is scoring 11.3 points and pulling down 5.5 boards per contest. Gist also leads the Lady Rebels with 21 assists. Sophomore guard Elizabeth Cansdale is adding 10.0 points per game and senior forward Leah Henley is grabbing 5.5 caroms per contest.

The Lady Rebels will play three-straight home games, before hitting the road for tournaments in the Bahamas and Miami, Fla., to end the 2002 portion of their schedule.
