OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss took a small tumble in all three of the major national college baseball polls that were released Monday, after going 2-2 last week, including dropping 2-of-3 games to Tennessee in Oxford this past weekend. The Rebels did, however, remain in the top 10 in the Collegiate Baseball Top 30, checking in at No. 9, down two spots from last week.

Ole Miss (33-11) is down five spots in this week's Baseball America Top 25 to No. 11, and dropped four spots to No. 13 in the Baseball Weekly/ESPN Coaches Top 25. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll is scheduled to be released Tuesday, where Ole Miss was No. 7 last week.

Clemson (38-6) remained as the consensus No. 1 in all three polls after winning 2-of-3 in its ACC showdown with then-No. 3 Wake Forest (36-8).

Four other SEC teams are also ranked in all three polls. Alabama (38-7) is No. 3 in Collegiate Baseball, and No. 5 in the Baseball Weekly/ESPN and Baseball America polls. South Carolina (34-10), Ole Miss' opponent this weekend, is No. 4 in Collegiate Baseball and Baseball America, and No. 6 in Baseball Weekly. Florida (32-13) is No. 10 in Baseball America, No. 11 in Baseball Weekly, and No. 12 in Collegiate Baseball. LSU (30-15) rejoined all three polls after sweeping Arkansas this past weekend in Baton Rouge, as the Tigers are No. 23 in Baseball Weekly, No. 24 in Baseball America, and No. 28 in Collegiate Baseball.

Before traveling to South Carolina this weekend, Ole Miss will travel to Jonesboro, Ark., for a 6:30 p.m., non-conference match-up with Arkansas State (19-25) Tuesday evening. The Rebels and Gamecocks will open their three-game conference series Friday night at 6 p.m., CDT. All four games this week, and for the remainder of the season, can be heard over the Ole Miss Radio Network.
