OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss men's tennis team, who advanced to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament last weekend, stayed at No. 3 in this week's ITA National Rankings released Tuesday.

The Rebels, who won the overall SEC Championship for the second year in a row, are third behind defending NCAA Champion Baylor and 2005 ACC Champion, Virginia. Florida moved up to No. 4 following its SEC Tournament title. Illinois, UCLA, Georgia, Pepperdine, Duke and Texas Tech round out this week's top 10. The SEC leads the nation with three teams in the top and seven in the top 25.

In the individual rankings, senior Catalin Gard remained at No. 4 with a 20-3 record at No. 1 singles. Freshman Erling Tveit is ranked No. 113 and owns a 17-2 dual match record, 13-2 at No. 3 singles.

Gard and sophomore Eric Claesson moved up to No. 16 in doubles after last Saturday's win over the nation's No. 8 team from Tennessee.

The Rebels will learn Wednesday, May 4, if they will be one of 16 host sites for an NCAA Regional, when the pairings are announced at 3:30 CT on ESPNews. Ole Miss has hosted a regional five of the last six years.
