The shutout marked just the second for the Rebels (4-12) this season, including a 5-0 defeat to No. 16 Baylor at the Ragin’ Cajuns Invitational.
Ole Miss starter Becky Nye (0-7) allowed just two runs (one earned) with four strikeouts in the losing effort.
The Devilettes (5-9) broke a scoreless tie with one run in the bottom of the fourth. With runners on first and third with two outs,
Ole Miss fell into a 2-0 deficit in the bottom of the sixth. Ledet doubled down the left field line, scoring Nakelya Moragne, who had reached base and advanced to second on a Rebel throwing error.
