OXFORD, Miss. The Ole Miss men’s tennis team is ranked No. 10 in this week’s Fila/ITA National Rankings released Tuesday. The Rebels are preparing to host their final regular season home matches of the season this weekend.
The Rebels will battle the LSU Tigers on Friday at 2 p.m., at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center. The first 100 fans to the match will receive a free Rebel Tennis t-shirt compliments of the Ink Spot. The team concludes its homestand with a 1 p.m. match against Arkansas on Sunday.
Georgia remained atop the rankings, followed by Virginia, Ohio State, Baylor, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Illinois and Southern California. The SEC leads the nation with five teams in the top 16 and six in the top 25. Ole Miss’ next opponent, LSU, comes in at No. 13. Florida is ranked No.15 followed by Alabama at No. 16 and Tennessee at No. 22.
Admission to both matches this weekend is free.
