Rebel Golfers In Sixth After Two Rounds At Rio Pinar

ORLANDO, Fla. The Ole Miss men’s golf team led by freshman Sean Dale, shot a 291-293584 Monday at the Rio Pinar Country Club and stands in sixth place heading into the final round at the Rio Pinar Invitational.

Dale fired a 71-72143 and is tied for seventh, one back of the top five.  He will be going for his fourth top 10 finish of the year.

The Rebels as a team, trail Augusta State (581). Host Central Florida leads the field with a 571 after turning in a second round 277.  Louisville is in second at 577 followed by Vanderbilt (577) and Texas-Arlington (577).

Sophomore Jonathan Randolph carded a 71-73144 and is tied for 11th, and freshman Joe David posted a 72-73145 and is tied for 18th.  Senior Stefan Strandlund and junior Will Roebuck finished with 152 and 154 respectively to round out the Rebel scoring.

The final round begins Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
