Game Notes- at Missouri - Game 25



Ole Miss opens up a two-game road swing when it travels to Mizzou for a Sunday afternoon showdown with the Tigers at Mizzou Arena. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. CT on SECN+ with Ben Arnet and Jarrett Sutton on the call.

Starting Five
1. Ole Miss dropped a 69-49 contest to No. 6/6 Tennessee on Thursday at Tad Smith Coliseum. The Rebels have dropped their last six contests, which is the longest streak since a nine-game streak last season. Ole Miss is now 14-10, 4-7 SEC and sitting in a four-way ninth place in league standings.



2. For the first time since the Baylor game on Dec. 7, Ole Miss was without a single player in double figures against Tennessee. Gracie Frizzell and Shandricka Sessom led the way with nine points each. Additionally, Ole Miss didn't have a double-digit rebounder against the Lady Vols.



3. For the first time since her freshman season, Tia Faleru was held scoreless against Tennessee, snapping a span of 99 straight games with at least one point. Faleru was also held to a season-low four rebounds against Tennessee, a mark she has set twice this season.



4. Tia Faleru is approaching her 800th rebound and is just 25 rebounds shy of the milestone. Should she reach the milestone this season she will become one of seven players in program history with 1000 career points, 800 career rebounds and 150 career steals and will become the first to do it since Armintie Price in 2006-07.



5. Ole Miss is looking for its second SEC road win this season when it travels to Missouri. The Rebels snapped a 14-game SEC road losing streak with a win at Florida on Jan. 8 and is looking for more than two SEC road wins for the first time since the 2006-07 season.



Ole Miss vs. Missouri Notables
-This will be the fifth meeting between Ole Miss and Missouri, with MIzzou owning a 3-1 record and having won the last three meetings. The Rebels make the trip to Columbia for the second straight year and are looking for their first win on Missouri's home floor.



-Sunday's matchup pits the SEC's top two rebounders in Ole Miss' Tia Faleru and Mizzou's Jordan Frericks against each other. Faleru leads the lead with 10.4 rebounds per game while Frericks is next with 9.9 rebounds per game. For a while, Faleru and Frericks were the only players in the SEC averaging a double-double.



A Win Would...
-Move Ole Miss to 15-7, 5-7 SEC, snap Missouri's three-game win streak and give Ole Miss its first-ever win in Columbia, Mo. It would also guarantee Ole Miss its first winning season since the 2009-10 season when Ole Miss went 17-15. The

Ole Miss' last 20-win season was in 2006-07 when the Rebels went 24-11 and advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight.



25-Number of rebounds Tia Faleru needs for her 800th rebound. She will become one of seven players with 1,000 points and 800 rebounds. She also picked up her 150th steal against South Carolina and once she reaches 800 rebounds will be one of four players with 1,000 points, 800 rebounds and 150 steals and the first since Armintie Price (2004-07).



29-Number of career double-doubles for Tia Faleru after a 23-point, 13-rebound outing against Vanderbilt. It was her first double-double since 11 points and 12 rebounds against Texas A&M on Jan. 18 and was also her first 20-point game since scoring 21 against Kentucky on Jan. 4



Scouting Missouri
Missouri enters Sunday's game with a 13-12, 3-9 SEC record after falling on the road 67-64 to Alabama on Thursday night. Jordan Frericks leads a pair of Tigers in double figures with 13.4 points per game and is joined by Morgan Eye who is averaging 10.0 points per game. Frericks is also leading the team on the defensive end with 9.9 rebounds per game, as the SEC's second-leading rebounder. In SEC play, Frericks is the lone player in double-digits with 13.0 points per game, but Sierra Michaelis isn't far off with 9.9 points per game, while Eye is contributing 9.7 points per game. Missouri is averaging 63.4 points per game and 42.8 rebounds per game.



About Ole Miss
Senior forward Tia Faleru continues to lead Ole Miss with 14.4 points per game and 10.4 rebounds per game. Faleru has scored in double figures in 19 of Ole Miss' 24 games and has grabbed eight or more rebounds in 20 of Ole Miss' 24 games. She also has nine double-doubles on the season which ranks second in the SEC. Faleru, who is in the only player in the SEC averaging a double-double, is the lone player in double figures, but Erika Sisk is nearing double figures with 9.1 points per game while Ole Miss has six players averaging 6.0 points or better. Danielle McCray and A'Queen Hayes are helping Faleru shoulder the rebounding load averaging 4.7 and 4.3 rebounds per game, respectively. In SEC action, Faleru leads the way with 11.9 points, while Erika Sisk is averaging 9.2 points. Danielle McCray is also netting 7.4 points per game against SEC foes. As a team, Ole Miss is averaging 66.4 points per game while holding opponents to 63.3 points per game.

Ole Miss will stay on the road and travel to Auburn, Ala., to take on another pair of Tigers on Thursday at 8 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Net.
