Rebel Netters in Line to Host NCAAs

OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss tennis fans are invited to come celebrate the tennis selection show for the 2015 NCAA national team championships Tuesday at the Corner Bar Restaurant off the Square (located on Jackson Ave., next to the Oxford Eagle). The coaches will be on hand for the festivities that begin at 3:30 p.m.
NCAA.com will unveil the women's bracket beginning at 4 p.m., followed by the men's field of 64 at 4:30 p.m.
First-year head coach Toby Hansson has led the Rebel men to a current ranking of No. 13 in the nation. Led by All-SEC honorees Nik Scholtz, Stefan Lindmark and Gustav Hansson, the Rebels seek their 22nd consecutive NCAA appearance and are in position to host the first and second rounds May 8-9 at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center.
The women, ranked No. 20, are expected to receive their seventh consecutive NCAA bid under head coach Mark Beyers. They are led by All-SEC honoree Julia Jones, who is ranked No. 7 in the nation.
The fields for the NCAA individual singles and doubles portion of the tournament will be announced Wednesday evening.
