Ole Miss moved to 37-6 all-time in season openers and has now won each of its season-openers in the Insell era. Ole Miss has also opened at home each of the last eight seasons.

3. True freshman Shelby Gibson scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds in her debut. Her 14 points are the most points by a freshman in their debut since Arminite Price had 14 on Nov. 14, 2003. 5. With seven points in the season-opener, Erika Sisk is 57 points away from 1,000 career points. She will become the second player to achieve the milestone under head coach Matt Insell and staff and will become the 27th player in program history to top 1,000 career points.

A Win Would
-Give Ole Miss back to back wins to open the season for the first time since the 2014-15 season, when Ole Miss opened with three straight wins.
