Thornberry Finds Top 10 At SEC Championships

SEA ISLAND, GA. – Freshman Braden Thornberry found the top-10 to lead the Ole Miss men’s golf in the opening round of the SEC Championships Friday.
The freshman from Southaven, Mississippi fired two birdies on the back nine to post a score of even-par 70 on the 7,005-yard Seaside Course at the Sea Island Golf Club. Thornberry is four strokes off leader Matthias Schwab of Vanderbilt and finished ahead of 17 ranked players.
